#nationalparksweek – Yes it’s the 2016 UK National Parks Week and there are events all over the country to get involved with!
2016 UK National Parks Week invites those not normally interested in getting out of their cars to find a spot and take part in an activity. The children are on their holidays still, the weather will still happen whether you go or not and for the older kids, there are even survival skills to be taking part in. (If you’re feeing all Ray Mears about it..)
More importantly, it is a week where National Parks around the Britain can show off their amazing features. From their huge mountains and flowing lakes to the tiniest of flowers or humble bee. This is a time to have someone on hand to get you interested and to share their interest too. To appreciate all the small diversity that continues while we are about strolling around thinking we know what the deal is.
From insect hotels to tips on creating more bird friendly gardens why would you not want to take part in an activity. Here are some that have jumped out on Twitter that you may be interested in. Remember you can always find where they are by going to the United Kingdom National Parks Page.
Adventure is the Theme
