Videos | Gallery | Unexplored | Stories
Shahdag National Park in Azerbaijan is the largest National Park in the whole of the Caucasus. It also is home to the highest mountain in Azerbaijan, Mount Bazarduzu. There has recently been a lot of loans made to Azerbaijan by the World Bank and Japan to create tourist infrastructure for visitors to this National Park.
The Shahdag National Park is primarily a mountain National Park with rich coniferous forest and alpine meadows. It is set at an altitude of 1300-1600m and has specific flora related to this area that is protected.
Due to it’s current development, more information will be available at a later time regarding the park, but look at the videos to see what people are doing and what the typical landscape is like.
