This was taken off the shores on a small island off the shores of Scotland. The day was so calm and the water crisp and see through.
The greens in the wave really drew my attention, as the sea has so many colours at different times.

Description
The sea is an amazingly calming natural feature of any sea side visit, but this photo was taken on the Western Isles of Scotland. A small group of islands called the Outer Hebrides.
The beaches are wonderfully white and the sea is incredibly clear. This has to be the moment when you see the energy of the ocean come to meet the land in a soft gentle splosh.
Don’t be fooled though, these island regularly have wind gusting up to 100 mile an hour. If it isn’t stapled down it is gone forever…
So when I took this photo I was amazed by the calmness and beauty of the water. The times before I have been there to see the waves crashing agains the white sandy beaches, where the droplets hit your face like small stones. On a calm day all is peaceful.
