Dajti Mountain National Park in Albania
Videos | Gallery | Unexplored | Stories
Dajti Mountain National Park lies 26km from the capital city of Tirana. This has been called the “Balcony of Tirana” according to Park Dinarides Website. There is easy access to the top via means of a cable way where there is food and a look out to take in the views over the capital city.
This is a wild park though, and Brown Bears and wildcats still exist here, so keep an eye out for one and send a picture if you can get them. Above 1000m there are Oak and Beech forest and below are fragrant Myrtle and Fragaria.
Brari Village to the north has panoramic views of the canyon and Ottoman Bridge and should be worth the visit if you are already in the area.
