Bredi i Hotovës-Dangelli National Park, also known as Fir of Hotova National Park and Bredhat e Hotovës-Dangëlli, lies 35km from Përmet, in the districts of Korçë and Gjirokastër. It is named after the Hotova Fir which is of importance in Albania and the Mediterranean. It is mainly covered with Bulgarian Fir and appears to be the most protected in Albania.
Bredi i Hotovës-Dangelli National Park has some wildlife to watch out for. The Brown Bear, Wolf and Fox along with wild boar, and deer too. Look out for the spectacular red and black Juniper too.
Bredi i Hotovës-Dangelli National Park is a wild park, requiring a 4×4 to access it and note there are no facilities inside the park so be sure to purchse what you need before entering.
