Valles del Comapedrosa Nature Park in Andorra
Videos | Gallery | Unexplored | Stories
Valles del Comapedrosa Nature Park (also Comapedrosa Valley Nature Reserve) has Andorra’s highest peak – Pic del Comapedrosa – at 2942m. That’s quite a climb and the views will be spectacular as you look upon the Pyrenees below. (See the videos below for an idea) It is a popular park with walkers and trekkers, with 3 mountain refuges to stay in if you are walking, housing between 6 and 10 people.
Ramsar has taken a special interest in Valles del Comapedrosa Nature Park as it has specific wetlands and endemic Pyrenean species and threatened flora and fauna. So take you camera with you and bring some photos back for us to see.
In summer, horse riding with guided tours and guided hiking are available for that real authentic Andorra experience and well worth taking advantage of if you have some time.
